# AoTwin > Assign tickets to AoTwin in Jira or Linear, like you would a teammate. Each one comes back ready for your engineers to approve, or back to you with what’s missing. AoTwin is for product managers, QA and product designers: people who write tickets but don’t write code. It takes the tickets that wait for weeks, such as copy changes, layout fixes, a new column, a filter or a simple create-and-edit screen, while the team’s engineers stay on the roadmap. ## How it works - Assign the ticket to AoTwin in Jira or Linear. It replies within seconds. - It reads the ticket and the team’s code before it changes anything. If something is missing, it asks instead of guessing. - The change comes back linked to the ticket, ready for review. An engineer approves every change before it goes live. ## What comes back - Ready for review: clear, contained work that passed the team’s checks. - Ready, with a warning on top: the change works, but part of it needs a careful look. That covers anything touching sign-in, permissions, payments or personal data. Changes to iPhone or Android app screens always come back as drafts. - Back to you, with the reason: anything too vague to act on, anything that needs an engineer’s call, and anything that doesn’t pass the team’s checks after a second try. ## Customer reports from Slack Connect the Slack channel where customers report problems. AoTwin files each report as a Jira or Linear ticket. If something important is missing, it asks one or two questions in the thread first. A report of a problem that’s already filed is added to the existing ticket. Customers see a short confirmation and the ticket, never the code. ## From your AI assistant AoTwin connects to the AI assistant you already use through MCP, a standard way for assistants to use other tools. Connect once at app.aotwin.io/mcp and sign in; there is no key to copy. From Claude, Claude Code and Cursor you can file a ticket, find and read tickets, comment, change status, assign, and reopen or close. Filing or editing a ticket never starts AoTwin; it starts only when a ticket is assigned to AoTwin. ## What it never does - It can’t approve or release anything. Every change waits for one of the team’s engineers. - It works only where the team connects it. - Each change stays separate, linked to its own ticket. - It doesn’t guess: a vague ticket comes back with what’s missing. - A ticket can’t give it orders that break these rules. These rules are built into the product. The technical version is on the page for engineers. ## Pages - [Home](https://aotwin.io/): what AoTwin does, with a sample ticket to try - [For engineers](https://aotwin.io/engineers/): the technical story and the safety rules, for whoever approves the install - [MCP](https://aotwin.io/mcp/): connect AoTwin from Claude, Claude Code and Cursor to file, find and update tickets from the chat - [Pricing](https://aotwin.io/pricing/): free to keep your team’s tickets in AoTwin, paid plans counted in tickets - [An AI agent for Jira that fixes tickets](https://aotwin.io/guides/ai-agent-for-jira/): what such an agent is, which tickets to give it, and how AoTwin compares - [An AI coding agent for product managers](https://aotwin.io/guides/ai-coding-agent-for-product-managers/): how it differs from Cursor and Copilot, what to hand it, how to write the ticket - [How to assign a Jira ticket to an AI agent](https://aotwin.io/guides/assign-jira-ticket-to-ai-agent/): the three lines the ticket needs, the steps in Jira, what a good reply looks like - [Small UI fixes without waiting for a developer](https://aotwin.io/guides/small-ui-fixes-without-a-developer/): for designers, which fixes to hand over and how to write them - [How product managers ship changes without an engineer](https://aotwin.io/guides/ship-changes-without-an-engineer/): content tools, flags, or an agent in the ticket - [About](https://aotwin.io/about/): who builds AoTwin and how to reach them - [Security](https://aotwin.io/security/): where AoTwin works on your code, what’s kept and for how long, and whether it trains models - [Privacy](https://aotwin.io/privacy/): what personal data AoTwin collects and how to change or delete it - [Terms](https://aotwin.io/terms/): the terms for using AoTwin - [Contact](https://aotwin.io/#contact): ask a question, or describe the tickets you’d hand over
